Water and Wastewater
FJA engineers are experienced in all manner of water and waste water design, from reticulation sized mains to submains and trunk infrastructure.
We also have extensive experience and possess the expertise to provide advice and design services to service a range of developments from Green field subdivisions; Brown field renewals, to infrastructure adjustments for road and rail projects.
Besides, we have intimate knowledge of Sydney Water technical design requirements and are capable of working with all councils and other water services authorities.
FJA has worked on and successfully delivered every type of water and sewer asset. To illustrate, we have designed water mains for potable and recycled water up to 1200mm diameter, across all pipe materials as well as temporary works solutions to allow tunneling under assets.
For sewer assets, we have designed pumping stations, rising mains, gravity mains and pit modifications and rebuilds. Additionally, we have experience combining old and new to allow partial rebuilds to save our clients’ time and cost. For instance, we have worked on heritage listed oviform brick sewers and design of sewers up to 15m deep.
